so right now im sitting in the nurses station with pink eye and im stuck in a little cubicle and cant move unless i have to use the restroom. since i have an attention span of a two year old i watch people from the thresh hold of my lovely home and since i love to people watch this is a dream come true.
while i was watching some counselors interact with their kids i couldnt help but think of the way others "people watch" me. are they seeing christ in me and the way i treat others? do they see anything different about me? are they seeing a person who makes every situation about them or a person who is putting others before themselves?
i always told my girls that christianity is backgrounds and thats the way its supposed to be. everything we say and do should be completely backgrounds to society! a good friend of mine, lindsey tober, serves her heart out all day, everyday. she serves to the point where it annoys most people because we cant serve her but when i think about it, that is the way we should serve...ALL DAY, EVERYDAY, IN EVERY WAY! i get emotional thinking about the woman of God she is and the example she sets.
i dare you to serve your heart out and seek opportunities to do so for anyone and everyone! its time we put our big girl panties on and serve and to match our walk with our talk.

Thanks amber, I'm going to work on serving more! Especially serving my family, because I feel like it's always easier to serve other people, but when it comes to our families, sometimes we forget that we need to show them the love of Christ too.
