any ideas?

hey quest!

you may remember alexa's post a while ago about her idea to stay up all night and pray. well i thought that was a really good idea so i told my youth pastor about it and said i thought it would be a cool thing for our youth group to do together. Anyway, we're going to do it with our church and a few other churches in febuary, and i have the task of making like an hour by hour schedule of what we're going to pray for, and when we're going to have worship and stuff like that. we also have 4 rooms to use so things can be going on in the other rooms too.

anyway, if anyone has any suggestions i would greatly appreciate them! and thanks alexa for this idea in the first place!

  1. hey, let me know the date of when y'all do it so i can do it the same night! that would be awesome. also, the first thing i thought of was to pray for the entire body of believers...like all over the world! i think it was Haley that posted about that sometime ago and i think it would be a cool thing to pray about. i'll try to keep the ideas coming as i think of them...

  2. Pray for an end to abortion, and for troops (just as a suggestion.) Also, I think this is pray for vocations month, but I'm not 100% sure...And Alexa's right, please tell us the date!

  3. ok so this was such a God thing that I found this passage, but i think it would be cool to pray Ephesians 3:14-21 over all the Christians of the world like i was talking about earlier. it's a prayer that Paul affectionately prayed to God for his beloved Ephesians! check it out...i think you'll like it. i love it so much, in fact, that i'm gonna start reading it (praying it too) everyday in hopes that i can commit it to memory! maybe y'all wanna do it too..? it would be awesome! i'm gonna keep commenting ideas on here if that's cool with you, hannah! haha

  4. Pray that all Christians will learn to be true Christians. I think that the definition of a Christian has become kind of blurred. People think being a Christian is just believing in God and maybe even reading their Bibles a lot. Too many people think that. Only some know that being a Christian is being an actual FOLLOWER of Christ, not just when you feel like it or when you have time, but every single day of your life. Pray that Christians will be strengthened to carry out the love of Christ.
