Prayer: the best sign of love

Here's something I've been thinking about a lot lately that I want to share with you guys...

We all have those people in our lives that hurt us, for whatever reason. I've realized that the best thing you can do is to pray for these people. Praying for someone is the greatest act of love. So here's my challenge to you, Quest! When people hurt you, pray for them. Pray for your enemies. Pray for the people you find it hard to love, and, eventually, it will become easier to love them.

"Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." ~ Philippians 4:6-7

Thanks for reading!

  1. Haley, I love this. Prayer is such a powerful tool that I know I am guilty of overlooking very often. It really is one of the best things you can do. It's something that helps EVERY situation. Somebody once told me, "You can never overpray a situation." And how true that is! Thank you for the awesome reminder of the power of prayer! Also, an acronym you might enjoy...I write it on my hand sometimes... PUSH: Pray Until Something Happens. :)

And i especially love how you make bold the fact to pray for people who hurt you. It really is the best thing to do. Especially with friends who are losing sight of who they are in Christ. So thank you So much! This is a huge encouragement to me right now!!
