Conviction

Hey Quest!

I'd just like to say that this encourages me all the time. I love hearing what you guys are discovering, I love having to think of answers to questions, and I love getting answers to my questions, so keep it up!

Anyway, the other day, I was thinking how Scripture applys to everything. Well, almost everything. I mean, the little things, like which shirt should I wear or what should I have for a snack don't really matter, so I guess they don't count. (This is my thought process here.)

THEN, I remembered the verse in Matthew (I think chapter 7?) about how we shouldn't worry about what we wear or eat. But, being me, I kept going. Well, what about whether I should shower or go to bed and do it in the morning? Well, there's verses about washing your face and keeping clean. Should I put my books in my locker? There are verses about giving your burdens to me.

So, pretty much, as hard as I thought, I could not think of ONE situation where Scripture didn't apply, or you couldn't relate it back to Scripture. I kinda felt like God was laughing down at me from heaven saying, "Nice try, but what did I tell you?" (In a friendly way, of course.)

Anyway, I encourage you guys to think about this a lot. Yep, no situation. Get over it.
I also encourage you to try to apply Scripture to every situation in your life. This is a really big problem for me; I just kinda get wrapped up in my day and forget God, and I HATE it after I realize what I did! So I encourage you to do MUCH better than me.

I love you guys! You're amazing!

Talk about what you got out of it, what challenged you, questions you have, and any other cool stuff about what you read in scripture.
