John 1:51

Hey Quest! So, by the title of my post, I bet you can guess what verse I'll be sharing. This is just a quick little post, but it's something that caught my eye in my reading plan.

John 1:51
"He then added, 'I tell you the truth, you shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man.'"

Now, I love finding verses like these in the Gospels. These verses that Jesus speaks directly to people, that we can still take and apply to our lives. The Gospels are full to the brim with them.
In context here, Jesus is talking to one of the twelve, Nathanael. He's explaining the things that Nathanael will see while He is on earth. However, this verse can also be applied to our daily lives. In context, Jesus is talking about the wonderful things his disciples will soon see if they follow Him on earth. In our lives, you can say the same thing. What wonderful things we will soon see if we are to follow Christ while we are on earth. I don't know about y'all, but that encourages me to hear stuff like that.

I love reading y'all's posts, please keep it up guys! You're awesome!
