the Little Giants

I started 1 Corinthians today. At the end of the first chapter, Paul starts talking about how the Corinthians are not the wisest or strongest people according to the standards of the world. Then it talks about how even the least of the Lord is strongest than anything men could ever do. Then he says he uses the foolish to shame the strong.

I started thinking about who God chose to use over the history of the Bible: Shephards, tent makers, fishermen, tax collecters, and prostitutes. It's totally true, God loves being the coach of the Little Giants! He picks the weak for his team and elevates them to the highest places of honor... shaming the world.

So whenever you are tired, know that's when the Lord wants to use you. Know that when you are broken, he wants you. When you are not the smartest, the strongest, the prettiest, that is when God wants to use you. Our God is so cool and ridiculous.

Talk about what you got out of it, what challenged you, questions you have, and any other cool stuff about what you read in scripture.
