Lets Play the Name Game..

How powerful is the name of Jesus? We hear "Jesus is the name above all names" and we end our prayers in "In Jesus name I pray..." There's so many songs about his name, and how sweet it is, but what does that even mean?! Well... Check this out.

"Now Peter and John went up together to the temple at the hour of prayer, the ninth hour. And a certain lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms from those who entered the temple; who, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked for alms. And fixing His eyes on him, with John, Peter said, “Look at us.” So he gave them his attention expecting to receive something from them. Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and anklebones received strength. So he leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them-walking, leaping, and praising God. Acts 3:1- 8"
Here we see a crippled man who is healed by and every day disciple of Jesus, like you and me.
Peter and John saw this man and faith began to stir and the holy spirit began to move in them and the went over there and proclaimed healing over this man. Guys arise in faith and cast out all hopelessness and disbelief as far as the name of Jesus is concerned. "Suddenly ‘In Jesus Name’ is no longer a phrase that is meant to just end your prayer, but your power and connection to heavenly anointing to release God’s glory into your life and situation."

“And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. Acts 3:16

Get ready for the same to happen to you, begin to examine and turn your heart and to believe in the name of Jesus and YOUR faith will connect you with the electricity of heaven "that destroys yokes and removes burdens"

Last verse I want to share with you about the sweetest name in the World.
Acts 4:12 "Jesus is the only one who can save people. His name is the only power in the world that has been given to save people. And we must be saved through him!"

Wow! I hope this made you realize just how powerful and how beautiful and wondrous the name, just the NAME of Jesus is. It made me think twice.

i want your feedback my dear family! :]
i love you
Blessings, Madi Greer
